Help my dog keeps trying to bite off his collar!

Recently my dog has been trying to bite off his collar and I want him to stop since I just installed a new dog gps tracker on it and changed the strap so that it won't fall, I think the problem is because with the gps tracker but is there a way that I can make him stop trying to bite off his collar without removing the collar?

Do you have another collar you can try on him to see if it is the GPS tracker that he seems to be so fascinated with? Otherwise, giving him something more desirable to chew on or play with, redirection and consistency should help him overcome chewing on his collar.

Thank you apparently it is the dog gps tracker that he made him bite his collar probably because he doesn't like it, anyway thanks for your reply and suggestion.

It will probably just take some time for him to get used to.

We're having collar issues too. I know I should have started getting my dog used to a collar back when he was a puppy. I just felt sorry for him. Now it's a lot worse than it needed to be.

You might want to use cheap collar, until he accepts wearing them. My dogs all wear harnesses, as I never wanted to pull on their neck/when they were learning to walk on leash.
