    "Help with new Dog"-( Amstaff owners)

    Hi all! Am new here.' Have a question for ANY Amstaff owners that have had one or more, over 4+ years old. Mia came from local Humane society!' 'Was there a year at least( they said)! Surrounded by dogs, noise! Question: Does your Dog(s) " sleep ALOT"??? Whenever she isn't out for a walk, etc. she is.....you guessed it: SLEEPING SOUNDLY!!( Snoring and all)! This " Normal"? - American Staffordshire Terrier owner( new)

    She is probably sleeping a lot because the whole entire change of life is exhausting. Also, staffies I do believe start sleeping more after they are 5. Bulldog types in general sleep a lot anyway!

    Many "natural" people foods are ok, I like giving eggs, pasta, beef, chicken, veggies, potatoes, rice, cheese..... avoid processed foods because of the high sodium content.

    Limit any salt and seasonings to be more natural. No onions, grapes, chocolate and some leaves from plants like tomato are not good but the tomatoes are ok.

    If you give bone it must be RAW.... do not cook them! Marrow bones are great. Dogs also love raw food so you may want to look into that....
