    Cherry Eye

I was kinda dogless from a couple of months until one of my relatives offered me a sharpei. After 6 long months, I noticed that he has got 'cherry eye'. I am not a rich person and also, I don't know of good vets. Can anyone please suggest me according to my situation?

Since it’s a prolapsed nictitating membrane - cherry eye, I think it will cost around $2,000 or more. Just call up your vet or get in touch with a vet clinic online via greatvet or veterinarians and ask them about the cost of the surgery. If you aren’t ready for a dog yet, then it’s better to call a shelter or an NGO for this to help the dog with this surgery. It’s really sad to hear, but I hope he gets well soon.
