I was very lucky when Ftse came home to live with us from the Breeders he was just about potty trained would not pee inside except he would poo it seemed as soon as I left to go to work he would poo as I would come back so often just after a few minutes to see if we was ok and he had poohed and it was not as if he had not been already outside it was like he was punishing me for leaving him and I use to leave him the garage on the house so had the whole bare garage to run around in and play.

Re: FAQ: Is Your Pet Potty Trained / Housebroken?

I had read somewhere that you should bring your pup outside to the same area at all times and not say anything or interacting with them, when you see them going say something like hurry hurry. When they finished their pottying praise and praise some more. So I tried this and it works for us not my husband as he does it different and it takes much longer if at all and me less than a couple of minutes no worries unless distracted by another dog. This took only a month however he still has some accidents in the house - most out of boredom and anger. So now we go out on leash I say hurry hurry he pees than has a movement, praise and bag then were good to go.
